Formed in 1989, Stump Hollow emerged from the Stump Brothers, Lester and Carl 's, 1985 Broke and Loansome, western band. After Les passed away in 1992, members Carl, Suzanne Privett and Bill Ufleman were energized by the addition of the Prospectors Band, with Bill Lynski, Chris Pepe and Lori Thompson and in 1994 a new sound was formed, Bluegrass. They played Festivals in Central New York , Maine and Northern Pennsylvania and proudly shared the stage with Norman Wright & Kevin Church, Larry Stephenson Band, Warrior River Boys, and Dry Branch Fire Squad. Locally entertaining the popular Utica Monday Night summer concert series, the Adirondack Railroad, Unity Hall in Barneveld and Festival of the Arts in Remsen, New York. After 14 great years Carl and Suzanne retired from the Band in 2008. Sadly, soul mate, Suzanne took ill and passed away in the spring of 2010 and is forever missed.
2011 found Carl in Florida playing Bluegrass music with a new host of new musicians. In the spring of 2015, he joined up, Steve Hudson,Dale Wilson, Carl Stump, Lauren Harvey, Ken Stumpf and with encouragement, Stump Hollow is "on the road again". Thanks for support, come join us here in West Central Florida. Carl

Lynn Feaster and Zella join Carl and Ken to carry on the traditional Stump Hollow sound as Stump Hollow and Friends
