In 1994 Lori Thompson joined and group. She played the mandolin in her father's band "The Suttons", in the Lower hudson area, until her moved to upstate New York. She plays several instruments and has composed many great original songs. She is a schoolteacher and lives in Remsen. Since leaving Stumphollow, she formed a new group, Cincinnati Creek

Ed Entwistle joined Stump Hollow in the late 1990’s. He began playing fiddle at age 22. He has performed with many local groups including: Just Folks, Jim O’Looney and friends, and the C-ville String Band
Chris Pepe came to Central York area after college in Western Pennsylvania. Chris also joined the band in 1994 and plays the banjo, and has joined the Band, Cincinnati Creek. Chris, an electrical engineer.
The well-known Bluegrass Band "Stump Hollow" was originally  based in central New York State. Founding member, Carl Stump, began the group in1989 after moving to Central New York area from Buffalo. Previously he and his brother Les founded "Broke and Loansome", a good time Country/ Bluegrass band. He is the guitar / mandolin player singing lead and harmony.
Suzanne provided the bass sound , since 1990, and bodhran in 2000. She is a great vocalist on lead and harmony Besides Stump Hollow, she has performed with NYS Old Tyme Fiddlers and Comhaltas Dugan. In the fall of 2009 Suzanne took ill and April 2010 she passed into God 's Angel Band. She was an inspiration to us all, and sadly missed.
